Rob Morsberger is a singer-songwriter/arranger/keyboardist whose credits include work with Marshall Crenshaw, The Roches, Loudon Wainwright III, Dan Zanes, Jules Shear, Willie Nile, and many more. Classically-trained, he is also a busy working composer currently in his fourth season scoring the award-winning PBS series NOVAscienceNOW. Since 1995 he has worked steadily with guitarist Jon Herington (Steely Dan, Madeleine Peyroux), bassist Paul Ossola (Levon Helm, The Roches), and drummer Robin Gould (Carly Simon, Michael Franks). ''A Periodic Rush of Waves'' is the third in an album trilogy of songs about love, literature and science. Produced by Stewart Lerman, the CD features guest performances from Jules Shear and Marshall Crenshaw. ‘The End of Physics’ and ‘Relativity Blues'' round out the set and will become available for download from all major online vendors in December.
