Janet McLaughlin’s first CD, Dancing is a wonderful collection of songs she has written or co-written and features some of her beautiful guitar work. The CD starts off with a version of Solid Ground, performed live with the Indigo Girls while Janet was out on the road opening for her long-time friends Amy and Emily in New Mexico. Steve Seskin (Tim McGraw’s Grown Men Don’t Cry), has several co-writes on the record. Pierce Pettis does an awesome background vocal on Living on the Bayou. Produced by Gene Cotton and recorded in Nashville and Atlanta, more guest artist include Don Conesenti, Matthew Kahler and Dede Vogt.
