Details:
A native of Hell''s Kitchen, New York - Solomon never had any intension of ever doing music until he was sent to prison on a conviction of kidnapping at the age of 19. It was during his time in prison that he discovered a love for writing songs and rhymes. After 5 years of what was supposed to be a three year sentence, Solomon was released from prison. Solomon started working as an intern for Loud Records during the day while working at night as a bouncer at the Phenomenon strip club. At Loud Solomon dedicated his time to learning more about the music business through working on street promotions for such groups as Mobb Deep, Big Pun, MOP, and various Violator artists. Six months later, Loud closed their doors. But it was enough time to convince Solomon that the Music Business was where he wanted to be. Solomon took his knowledge of the business and created his own album "Capitol Game" which sold 2000 copies on the streets of New York. That hunger translated into a respect that Solomon earned for being a self made man in the underground circuit of the Hip Hop world. Solomon soon after started competing at underground hip hop shows such as Ludlow in the lower east side and Downtime lounge which held showcases for underground artists. Winning competitions one after another, Solomon soon made alliances in the industry. Solomon was immediately recognized for his ability to write Hooks for hip hop songs and was soon after dubbed The HookMaster by Conrad, the Director of A&R for Bad Boy Entertainment. His first hit, "All Great", a collaboration with Kurious George, was released by StoneGroove Records in 2002 which received Chairman''s choice Award in XXL Magazine. Solomon continued his hustle, working with such artists as Triple Sies of Terror Squad, Tragedy Khadafi, Mic Geronimo and many other up and coming artists.

In the summer of 2002, Solomon''s talents were recognized by Brad Turk, the CEO of Self Made Records Inc. and was signed to the Independent Label. By the end of 2004, Solomon had already recorded his second album "Down and Dirty" soon to be released independently nationwide. Recognized for his unique voice while spittin fire lyrics, Solomon was hired to do the voice overs for the 2003 Source Hip Hop Music Awards. Besides his friendships with Camron, Loon, and many other major recording artists, Solomon has recently laced such songs as "Brooklyn" and "Crazy" with up and coming artist Joell Ortiz which get regular play at Hot 97.1 in New York City. With his latest lyrical battles being presently played on the underground Hip Hop shows such as, Urban Threshold TV and Video City, it is evident that Solomon''s street respect is well deserved. Solomon''s first single Dirty Chick off the Album "Down and Dirty" is already getting BDS spins with adds from some stations as Power 96 in Miami (WEDR) as well as WJKS, WEAA, and WEBR. From California to Miami and of course New York, one name rings bells, one name stands out amongst the average artists in the industry today...One name...Solomon...Self Made.
