Rider Hall Music Company is proud to announce the new self-titled CD release from the Elizabethtown, PA-based duo, Sol Siden. This contemporary Christian duo is comprised of Barry Atticks and Nicole Brubaker. Sol siden is a Norwegian phase for the side of the sun, or literally, the sunny side. Their music celebrates the comfort and joy we find in God''s everlasting light, and offers hope and strength to all of those who trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Sol Siden''s music is a reflection of God''s all-encompassing love - Sol Siden sings the Lord''s praises in whatever way His spirit moves them - with jubilant dance hits, rockin''tracks, and melodic ballads.
Barry is a Harrisburg native who has been involved in the entertainment industry for the past fifteen years and is a graduate of Elizabethtown College, Berklee College of Music, Cal State Univ., L.A., and Penn State. For the past fifteen years, Barry has traveled from New York City, where he engineered music for Broadway shows and radio and TV commercials, to Hollywood, where he left his mark on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and Chicago Hope (he even acted on Power Rangers!). His musical diversity took him to Norway; where he created surround sound DVD''s. Currently, Barry is the Director of the Music Industry Program at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and directs the Praise Worship team at St. Paul''s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, PA.
Nicole is also a PA native and graduated from Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania. Nicole''s musical journey began as a vocalist for numerous radio and television commercials, but her ultimate dream was to sing in the worship of God, and through the songs of Sol Siden, she has reached that dream. Nicole has been a soloist for many Christian events, as well as serving for the past eight years as a worship leader at St. Paul''s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown, PA.
Marcy Rauer Wagman co-produced the CD with Barry. Marcy, Barry, and Nicole co-wrote the songs on the CD. Marcy has written songs for rock ''n'' roll, heavy metal, pop/R&B and country artists. She scored a Number One AOR hit with I''m Not Your Man, which she co-wrote with Tommy Conwell of Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers. In addition, she has produced music for over 500 TV and radio commercials, and numerous film/video scores. Her clients included ABC News/Good Morning America, KYW Newsradio, McDonald''s Restaurants, Campbell''s Soup, AT&T, American Express, Channel 6 Action News, Herr''s Potato Chips, BJ''s Wholesale Clubs, Total Raisin Bran, and Mallo-Cup Candies.
