Sensuous Enemy is an electronic female fronted band from Madison, WI comprised of JAI [vocalist/lyricist] and John [programmer/guitarist] and Chris Wenzel [drummer].

SE blends driving drum sequences and hard techno and EBM synth lines and combines powerful velvety vocals with a subtle use of orchestral strings, piano, and vocal harmony along with live electric rhythm guitar and drums to create a sublime visual stage presence.

In 2005 SE released their first E.P. "Deadly Sins" and won Best Electronic Album of the Year at the Broadjam 2006 Madison Area Music Awards and Best Electronic Artist at the Broadjam 2007 Madison Area Music Awards.

They have played great shows with infamous electronic/goth/industrial groups like Cruciform Injection, Iris, The Gothsicles, Imperative Reaction, Combichrist, Ctrlshft, Endif, Caustic, Bella Morte, Razed in Black, All The Pretty Horses, Heliosphere, Hungry Lucy, The Azoic, Rotersand, Covenant, Assemblage 23, Null Device, Android Lust, Iris, Stromkern, C/A/T, Stochastic Theory, Zoica, Terrorfakt, I:Scintilla and many others!

They have played in numerous Electronic Music Festivals like Reverence 2005 - 2008 and Madison Electronic Music Festival in Madison, Wisconsin, Sound n Fury I and II in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Wax Trax Records II Sunday Night Showcase in Chicago, Illinois, Elektrofest in Cleveland, Ohio and much more over the past 5 years.

SE has just completed their full length CD "Fragments" recorded and produced by Wade Alin of The Atomica Project/Christ Analogue in Chicago, IL

They were interviewed as a guest on WORT 89.9 Madison''s listener supported local radio station, with Dr. Ryan Parks "Something Wonderful", on the "New Disc at Nine" Feature Presentation. In addition, their new disc "Fragments" was also chosen as one of the Top 10 CD''s of 2008 and "Over" was chosen as #8 of the Top 10 Songs of 2008 in the December Isthmus newspaper.
