Who is Gloc? Many people are wondering where this rap sensation came from and just how long shes been in the game. Gloc was born on the east coast of Africa in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She moved to Lansing, MI at the age of 5 and currently resides there.
Gloc became interested in music at a very young age. She started singing at the age of 5. She began writing R&B and rap songs and had her own rap group by the age of 11. Gloc saw the response she got from her music and realized the genuineness of her talent. So she continued to write songs and look for a way into the game.
Gloc has been performing all her life and has demonstrated her abilities on T.V., at fashion extravaganzas, comedy shows, school events, weddings, picnics, festivals, talent showcases, and more. She has opened up for Mobb Deep, T.I., Yung Dro, Lil Scrappy, Ying Yang Twins, Chamillionaire, Choppa City Boys, Mase and many more. She has been featured on countless numbers of albums and is widely known for her ear catching radio commercials. Her heart-felt song "When I''m Done" was chosen from among thousands of entries around the world as one of the top ten finalists in the John Lennon Songwriting contest.
Gloc has developed a sizeable, loyal fan base and formed her own all-in-one promotional/record/entertainment company entitled Game Tight Entertainment. She promotes shows year-round showcasing big-name acts as well as local talent. Gloc has been the coordinator of many events in the Michigan area. With constant networking and hard work, Gloc plans to be the next international female rap/pop superstar. She has the ability to take it a step further than her female predecessors. Gloc is an intelligent, focused, and determined woman.
