These songs have stood the test of time and are just as popular today as they were 30 years ago. This undertaking of recreating songs from various legendary Motown artists required a great deal of confidence and tenacity. Stan has always been a huge fan of recording acts like The Four Tops, The Supremes and The Temptations. He has also admired some of the great writers of the Classic Motown Era, including Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the legendary writing team of Holland, Dozier, Holland.
Stan''s five-octave vocal range permits him to autonomously perform the various background harmonies heard on this CD. At times, I stood in amazement as I witness him perform an assortment of harmonies effortlessly.
