Willard Meeks Jr.
Arranger, Keyboardist, Songwriter and Producer best describe none other than Willard Meeks. A native of Long Island, New York began His musical and instrumental career at the tender age of 11. After graduating from high school went on to study and developed his musical gifts and talents at the Manhattan School of Music where he earned a BA in Music and an AAS in Business from Weymouth Business and Technical Institute in New York.
As a gifted and experienced musician Willard has traveled both nationally and internationally accompanying many renowned artists such as Whitney Houston, Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Holliday, Martha Wash and Richard Smallwood.
Utilizing his gifts and talents Willard has recorded with many choirs and artist like Benny Cummings & the Kings Temple COGIC Choir, Latin Jazz Pianist Michel Camilo, Kanye West late Registration Cd and The New York Community Choir directed by Benny Diggs. Willard has worked on other projects including recordings with producer Leon Pendarvis, Queens Community Choir under the direction of Rev. Robert Lowe, Donnie McClurkin & The New York Restoration Choir, Queen Esther Marrow & the Harlem Gospel Singers and Bishop White & The Shekinah Choir of New York.
Adding to his credits Willard has appeared on television with the Emmy Award winning presentation “Jessye Norman Sings for the healing of AIDS, the Gordon Elliot Show, Bobby Jones, Good Morning America and the Allen AME Cathedral TV Ministry.” He was also featured in Broadway performances with the Winans’ in “DON’T GET GOD STARTED” and Bob Fosse’s “DANCIN.”
Currently, Willard Meeks is the Minister of Music for the Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Eastern New York under the leadership of Bishop Frank https://www.tradebit.comte Prelate and the Kings Temple COGIC Church where the Rev. Milton Rochford https://www.tradebit.com is the Pastor. Willard also serves as a musician at the Allen AME Cathedral where the Rev Floyd H. Flake D. https://www.tradebit.com the Pastor.
After numerous years of accompanying great musicians and singers Willard Meeks Jr. founded World Without End Ministry. On that label he wrote, produce and released his debut CD entitle “HEAVEN” (The Glorious Resurrection) featuring Willard Meeks and Company.
