Dave Steffen has blended newly written songs with a couple of old favorites written in the past that his fans have been asking for on this outstanding CD. The "Eve of Autumn" takes you on a musical journey that winds down a road of blues, rock, and more. The songs were written from personal experiences, life and love, and dreams of a creative musical architect. Dave proves once again that he is an awesome musician. His guitar that has been with him since he was a young lad sings with the caress of his fingers. Craig Neuser, the bands bass player, has written one of the songs called "I''m Goin'' Home" that rocks hard with a straight ahead beat. All three members contributed to the writing of the title song, "Eve of Autumn". If you like a little jazz you''ll enjoy "Could It Be?" which has a jazzy dreamlike feel. Like the decore of autumn the "Eve of Autumn" reflects different vibrations filled with color and emotions. Dave Steffen invites you to listen to the autumn colors.
