This recording marks two major milestones for Big Country Bluegrass: their 20th year of playing “Galax style” bluegrass, and their 10th release on the Hay Holler label. Husband and wife Tommy And Teresa Sells founded the band in 1987. There have been relatively few changes in band personnel over the years, and the band has maintained it’s style of hard driving instrumentation with intense, high vocal arrangements. Fiddler/guitarist Jeff Michael is
a prolific writer of songs reminiscent of those penned by Roy McMillan, one of his heroes. Five of Jeff’s original compositions are included here.
