State of G.R.A.C.E. is comprised of two sisters who love singing for the Lord! The G.R.A.C.E. part of their name stands for God''s Riches At Christ''s Expense. They were born to Israel https://www.tradebit.comves Jr. and Evangeline Groves and were raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Crystal Y. (Groves) Lumpkins and Camille (Groves) McMickle started their journey at a young age singing in their father''s church when they were 9yrs and 5yrs old. They originally sang around the local area along with their little sister Cassandra Groves and called themselves the "The Groves Sisters". They would sing to hymns and tracks and praise the Lord at different churches, revivals, and conferences. Crystal got married to Garry Lumpkins in 1992 and in 1996 she moved to Alburqurque, New Mexico. Then she had two beautiful little boys Israel and Isaiah. Camille got married to Donald McMickle in 1997, and Cassandra moved to Alanta, Georgia in 1997. The group seemed to come to a end, ...but God had other plans. In the year 2000 after Crystal''s return to Kansas City, Crystal and Camille were lead by the Holy Spirit to start again with their ministry. They realized that these are the last of times and it is imperative to get the word of Jesus Christ out to the masses. They wanted to let God use them as vessels through their music. With the support of their husbands Garry and Donald, they began a journey that lead them through many trials. They were semi-finalist in the C.A.T.S. (Christian Artist Talent Search) in 2002 and traveled to Dallas, Texas. Then in 2003 they were invited to Oklahoma to minister at a youth conference and the great response, love and support sparked them to finish this demo cd. State of G.R.A.C.E. kicked off the release of their cd with a big Gospel extravaganza concert this past April. Now they are currently working on completing their full album with approximately 10 more original songs. State of G.R.A.C.E. knows that this is what God has called them to do and they are excited and believing he will take them local, national, and even international spreading and ministering to the lost, saved, and undecided souls. They appreciate all of the love and support from everyone. They can''t wait to see how the Lord will move in the future with their ministry.
