Maurice Strong started out singing on the street corners of Chicago in his neighborhood.
He went on from there to start singing solo lead to video taped performances on cable access television in the late eighty''s, he then began to develop a talent for writing music along with singing,
Maurice then Joined the Quartet group Holy Construction of LaGrange Illinois where he performed the song You Cant Do Nothing (without The Lord) at different churches around the Chicago land area.
In 1998, Strong decided to start recording his own music independently that he had written throughout the years in order to establish a solo fan base in which he succeeded in doing by releasing his debut solo album in 1999 ''Treat Her Right'' that receive favorable responses from his fans.
Strong has continued to write and produce music, in fact he''s released a new album independently ''Glad I Found U'' that''s in circulation as we speak, all tracks on the album are Written, Performed, Arranged and Produced by Maurice himself.
Strong is currently performing and touring with his new gospel band ''Consouljah'' performing song from their Wecame album.
