Details:
The Sundowners newest collection of songs -- the October 2001 release Strange Hours'' -- was completed in a variety of Nashville and Charlotte-area studios, including Emerald Entertainment, White Room Studios, and the band''s home base, Huntersville NC''s Pauly''s Hotel. Project engineers include Nashville-based Dan Wothke, Kevin Becka and Mark Martin.

Upon completing the mixes for the new CD, The Sundowners had a unique opportunity to go to Sydney, Australia to master their music at 301 Mastering, the Southern Hemisphere''s largest mastering studio. 301 Mastering has hosted artists such as INXS, Alanis Morrisette and Silverchair. Accepting an invitation by 301 owner Tom Misner, The Sundowners flew down to Sydney to work with Mastering Engineer Steve Smart.

Currently, The Sundowners are performing around the Southeast area while constantly writing and recording new material.

Following the release of ''Strange Hours'', The Sundowners worked with multiplatinum producer/engineer Michael Wagener (Metallica, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, many others) on remixes of ''How Close I Came To Falling'', ''Black Eye'' and ''Ghost'', three songs from ''Strange Hours''. The band collaborated with Wagener at Wireworld, the producer''s private Nashville-area recording studio.

--The Sundowners ready new songs for 2003 CD release:

The Sundowners are currently writing and demoing new songs for an upcoming 2003 CD release. Several of these demo recordings are available for free download at the band''s official website, https://www.tradebit.com.
