"SUPER STERNAL NOTCH CARVES OUT A NEW ALBUM WITH A SHOT AT STARDOM"

Hollywood . Nashville . New York - SSN became frustrated with the music scene in Boston during the late 90''s and decided to hitch their hard rock and high energy show to a star that led them to Phoenix, Arizona. The guys were tired of the same old thing and felt like the warm air of Phoenix might be more conducive to growing their own original material. Boston was full of cover bands that pleased club owners because cover bands brought in more money, but there was something tantalizing and special about the Valley music scene in Phoenix. There were cool places to play in Phoenix. There were people who really liked the fact that SSN band didn''t sound like anyone else. Boston was a very close minded old community, but Phoenix was like a breath of fresh air. "Our music is raw sounding, with lots of energy and the band is very Led Zeppelin influenced," the band has declared in press interviews. See https://www.tradebit.com

"We wanted to rock," and Phoenix seemed like the place to grow an original rock band, with the warmth and sunshine that the band needed to move forward. So, the band moved. Super Sternal Notch recorded their first CD at Mesa Community College in front of a music class. "If you can record in an atmosphere like that," then you can record anywhere.," Sully said. The band members go back to the campus a few times a year just to remind themselves of the challenge of recording in front of a group of college kids. The band has shared the stage with Van Halen, Creed, Fuel, Sebastian Bach from Skid Row, Monster Magnet, Loudmouth, Sloth and other famous rock bands from San Francisco to Boston. Sharing the stage with other bands, just motivates SSN to greatness. We came to Phoenix to develop our own unique and distinctive sound. Scott Moreno''s "wall of guitar" over the precise rhythms laid down by Michael Swords and Brian Shoemake, provide a powerful setting for Sully''s rugged almost angst ridden vocals that culminate into a battery of infectious hard rock, giving their fans raw energy with unabashed fervor.

The East Valley foursome of Mike Swords, Brian Shoemake, Scott Moreno, and Sully have played all over the southwest. Joe''s Grotto, The Bash on Ash, The Hollywood Alley, The Gig in Los Angeles, and The Junkyard in Vegas are just a few of the many play dates the band has filled to capacity with their original music that is now on its way into the hearts of those who have the opportunity to buy the new album, distributed by Platinum Plus Universal Records, entitled "Pack A Lunch." Shoemake, the bassist was added to the band after they settled in Arizona. The Prescott native, who lives in Mesa played the violin throughout high school but developed the heavy metal influences after adopting the bass guitar as his primary instrument. "I was forced into music more or less," said Swords, who said everyone in his family is involved in music. "I chose drums. As soon as I did, I loved it." Swords cites John Bonham as his favorite.

Moreno said his dad and his brother were in a band together for years performing music from the ''50s. He said it wasn''t until high school that he took a serious interest in guitar. Moreno cites Ronnie James Dio and Black Sabbath as his influences. "I influenced myself," Sully says of his singing. "I would drop a dime into a jukebox at a public place and just sing. I probably started writing music when I was 9 or 10. It''s always been this passion for me." That passion has arrived in the form of their latest album. Produced by Ralph Patlan, engineered and mixed at Phase Four Studios in Tempe, Arizona and Mastered at Capitol Records in Hollywood, California the album is a group of nine songs that are all bigger than life itself. From the incredible "24" to the heaviest notes in Green Lips, the band brings their music to a higher level than ever before. "If there is one rock album that you are going to buy this year, then buy this one," says Tori Sparks a solo rocker and fan of SSN. https://www.tradebit.com Sparks reviewed the album for Billboard magazine and has given the album five stars which is the equivalent of a perfect score.

"SSN is the Rolls Royce of Rock bands. There isn''t anyway to start to compare this band to others. There are no comparisons. The band is already Ready for a major label deal. If you want to be on the Ride of your life, then you need to get on board this band now. They will get bigger than life and put all others behind them. What an incredible awesome Monster Rock band!"
