Aptly named Tenderhooks and their unique blend of indie with some of the weirder rock machinations of electro experimentation are releasing their new single, ''Ma Ma https://www.tradebit.come'' and look set to provide that well needed wake-up call to the music scene. Tenderhooks'' may have chosen an alternative musical route but it''s that element of surprise and their charming Englishness that sets them apart from the rest - tender hooks indeed!

Rhythm & Booze - Ma Ma Mr Nice
A whilst back we reviewed an album entitled Slap Happy, the work of maverick genius, Markus Leinweber, a stunning, mature and captivating release that, in a just world, should have made Tenderhooks something of a household name. However as we all know the fickle music industry seems to be all about style over substance and so Mr Leinweber is still awaiting that breakthrough he so richly deserves.
Ma Ma Mr Nice is the latest single from Tenderhooks and is set to be featured on the forthcoming third album by the the Tenderhooks project, the title track is a wonderful infectious bouncy pop rock featuring choppy guitars, contagious rhythms and a huge hook-laden chorus that''ll weld a smile onto the face of the most hardened cynic.
The second track, Tiny Bombs opens with an orchestral barrage of strings and piano before developing into a dramatic and sweeping indie epic complete with glorious vocal harmonies and tasty melodies, that anyone with a passing interest in modern song composition will lap up with glee.
The final number, One Meant For Me, is a stripped down affair complete with all manner of pattered percussion, a simplistic guitar strum and a lovely choral vocal that''ll melt the blackest of hearts.
Tenderhooks have once again come up with the goods on this delightful single and if we can judge the forthcoming album on this release it''s set to be another classic, let''s just hope that this time Tenderhooks get the plaudits they deserve.
