at least according to Trill Billy. The north Texas hick-hopper has been known to make even the most jaded of crowds crank out a chuckle. His latest release "The Trill Billy 6Pack" is laced with off-color rhymes about everything from Barnet Shale drilling to his love for tasty southern frozen treats.
Even though blending country and hip-hop (a.k.a hick-hop ) is not a new concept, Trill Billy''s "6pack" sticks to the rap side with more of a country humor.
With production from Dallas''s own Vinny Boberino and coaching by Fort Worth''s Romio No E, Trill Billy''s flow throws down the gauntlet to any emcee who''s never tipped a cow.
"Imagine Chingo Bling and Larry the Cable Guy were heading towards each other in two different trains on the same track and BAM! Thats what i sound like. You can even call me Gringo Bling," says the cowtown clown of country rap.
Pikahsso and Tahiti Of Dallas supergroup P.P.T. trade in their "denglish" accents for a southern twang to make an appearance on "Darey Qween", a raunchy, metaphorical ode to tonguing ice cream. "6pack" certainly isn''t short of controversy. Trill Billy claims he can "make Miley Cyrus feel like she''s grown" and, on the self-titled song "Trill Billy", lewd lines such as "tryin'' to get Carrie to show me her underwoods" are not in short supply.
