My name is Barbara Swanson my parents are James and Victoria Jackson.I was raised in Philadelphia, Pa. As a small child I was heard singing in churches,schools and talent shows . My mom always wanted me to sing . She would always say , Barbara when I was pregnant with you I used to go to opera theaters. I would rub my belly and pray that you would be a singer one day.
Although I love https://www.tradebit.com goal as a teenager was popularity and handson young men. But I wanted to please my mom. therefore, I would sing in local churches just to make her happy.
After graduating from high school I started singing in clubs,cabarets, and talents shows always winning the first prize. That''s when I met up with a nice gentleman name Richard Barren., I believe, that was his last name (it was when I was in my teens) he was interesting in me joining a group called The Three Degrees but I was more interesting in my boyfriend who became my husband,Thomas Swanson., Yes ! I am still happily married.
When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, my whole perspective changed toward performing, I knew that God gave me a gift/talent I (https://www.tradebit.com matthews 25;verses 14-30 )promise Him that if He would bring me throught nursing school and keep me throught all my trials and tribulations ( I lost my first son in 1989, the lord kept me ). I would sing His praises and would live the life I sing about. I thought about all the things He have done for me and how He kept me in the mist of the of the storms.
The Lord gave me a desire to write . I know it was God. because I''ve never like writing; one of my first creation was, Lord you kept me...
My deepest desire now is to sing for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Jehovah God who is the Ultimate ruler in my life. He is First and will always be First. He is what keeps me.
