''oopsy-daisy'', the band''s 8th album, was recorded and mixed in Cambridge and Luxemburg. And was produced by... Ezio Lunedei. The local press described ''oopsy-daisy'' as a refreshing, catchy and very emotional album. The album offers not only the hit singles ''brand new toy'', ''someone by my side'' and ''Barbara fades away'', but also the misguided love song ''f.o. '' or ''big picture'', a journey back into childhood and the world of dreams.
Founded in 1990, T42 became famous because of massive touring and a whole range of top spots in the national charts: ''Marie-Anne'', ''prayers for love'', ''she dances until she breaks down'', ''Kitty'', ''hello, hello, hello, goodbye & here we are again'', ''great song of indifference'', ''oceans'', ''the storm'', ''happy in my tree house'', ''someone by my side'', ''brand new toy'' and ''deng Hand''.
In 2000, T42 looked back at their career for the first time and released a collection album as well as a live album to celebrate their 10th anniversary. T42 & Friends (with Ezio, Booga, Fish...) underlined the unique live atmosphere that can be witnessed at their gigs while the ''best of'' album (''hopeless romantic folk circus'') reached platinum status in Luxemburg, thus becoming their best selling record to date. A stunning achievement for a band that had rarely played their home country these last years...
Whoever wants to describe T42, will crash into phrases like ''fun'', ''big creative potential'' and ''perseverance''. And because they''ve kept their love for the music intact and still have lots of emotions to share, they''ve decided to sail off to new live adventures.
In 2003, T42 achieved gold status in less than a month with their first Luxemburgish single "deng Hand", which also became their biggest commercial success so far. The song supported the national "televise"-campaign. After a very successful tour, most of it as opening act for Ezio, a tour that saw the band mutate into the Ezio crew before and after their own set, T42 retired to the South of France to write new songs. October 2003 will see the release of "T42 (live) - crew deluxe" that captures perfectly the atmosphere of the spring tour with Ezio.
