V.K. Lynne was raised in Pennsylvania Dutch country, then moved with her guitar to Philadelphia- that combination of ''earthy'' and ''edgy'' permeated her writing, and now radiates through her rootsy,blues rock style. Her first release, The Key of V., becmae her calling card, along with the review it received:
