Details:
Noëlle taught herself how to play guitar at age 20 and began writing music. It took her about a year to get up on stage at an open mic to sing in front of an audience for the first time. She was hooked. Only a few years later she was playing at the Lilith Fair with Sarah McLachlan and opening for numerous other National acts. However, it was the moment that she got a message on her machine asking her to open for Bob Dylan that she knew she had arrived somewhere great, and all on her own. She had broken into the mainstream audiences just by pure talent and desire. Noëlle has always been an independent artist with a huge spirit and love for being on stage. "It''s amazing when you can get hundreds or thousands of people to feel the same emotion at the same time...." she says.

Noëlle Hampton writes real, emotive, beautiful songs that tell stories taken from her own life and all of the experiences within that life. She met her husband/guitar player, André Moran, fairly early on in her career and they realized right away that together they had a sound that was huge and lush and set them apart from other songwriters. Their influences come from artists like U2, Daniel Lanois, Patty Griffin, Tom Petty, Sheryl Crow and Mark Knopfler, and they blended all of that love for a big, beautiful sound with their own rootsy-rock. This combination has been a juicy delight to audiences all across the country.

They have opened for Bob Dylan, Chris Isaak, Richard Thompson, John Hiatt, Wilco, LeAnn Rimes, Jewel, Pat Benatar, Sarah Mclachlan, Train, Joan Armatrading, Graham Parker, Paula Cole, Garrison Star and more. Her music has been heard on AAA stations, college radio and satellite radio and featured in Prime Time television shows as well as short films in which Noëlle and André created the entire score.

About 5 years ago, they moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Austin, Texas, where they are excited every day to wake up in such a creative place. They started working on this album with their friend (and amazing producer) Mark Hallman and right away they knew they all had fabulous chemistry. This CD turned out to be one of the best representations of this artist that you have heard yet. It was made with joy and happiness and rock and roll and love and sweat and tears and all other good things.

Listen. Enjoy. Love.
