& Street have been making music together since 2001. Their vocals
have been likened to “Lyle Lovette meets Alison Krause” and their
music, “real Americana done with integrity and soul,” is a rich blend of
award-winning original songs. Before joining forces with Kathy Street, Tommy Byrd played with The Geezinslaws, sang harmony with Willie Nelson, and won numerous song writing awards, including the Song of Austin. Kathy sang with
folk and pop groups, and performed in musicals and cabarets. They continue to win awards with Love Broke the Fall taking the Top Country song in
2006 and A Different Plan winning a Lyrics Award in 2008 in the Austin Songwriters
Group competitions.
