Details:
Imagine a band called THALAMUS FLYNT that creates a music that with the first beat makes your soul dance, your feet tap, your booty shake, your heart beat a little faster, and your cares go out the door.

Their unique sound has been described as "Jam Band Fusion"; improvisational jams riding the sound waves that play through, around, and on top of the prisms of jazz, funk, Latin, reggae, and rock. Off times and syncopation, sprinkled with slide make this an original band everyone must see!!

This sound is based out of Southern California and have a following forming up and down the West Coast. They have traveled through Arizona, Las Vegas, Kansas, Mammoth, San Louis Obispo, San Francisco, and Tahoe.

While they have headlined all the major venues in Southern California such as the Galaxy theatre, the Coach House, the Roxy, and the House of Blues, they have also shared the stage with acts such as the Radiators, Keller Williams, the Big Wu, the Dark Star Orchestra, Galactic, the Recipe, Israel Vibrations, and Pato Banton just to name a few.

Their first album "Meniscus" was released in July of 2001, and has gotten rave reviews from fans and critics. Posted on https://www.tradebit.com. Their message is positive and their vibe contagious. These guys are full of love and energy and enjoy sharing it with their fans.

thal·a·mus (plural thal·a·mi) noun

1. brain part: Mass of gray matter lying beneath each cerebral hemisphere in the brain. They relay sensory information to the cerebral cortex and are concerned with awareness of all the main senses except for smell.

The thalamus is considered by many to be the center of all consciousness because all your senses are connected to it, including your sense of sound. With the Flynt representing the flint rock which can make a spark, we like to think of Thalamus Flynt as "Sparking the center of your Consciousness".
