In a home where her parents had a love of music tastes from Classical to Celtic, Liv has learned the art of being diverse in her own compositions and looks to her own style as being non conforming to any one genre. By the age of eight, music came naturally to her and she began to try her hand at songwriting. When Liv was eleven her father bought an old Sames Piano for $100.00 that had spent most of its life in a church, it was out of tune and had the ivory missing on some of the keys. Untrained, and without the ability to read or write music, Liv spent countless hours hammering out the tunes in her head. As her style and lyrics became more distinctive she sung her compositions at Church as a solo. Liv was enrolled in the Hunter School of the Performing arts, and continued to create music. In year 12, she spent six months with singing teacher, Heather Barnes, to improve her range, and gained a performance score of 95 for her HSC. This year Liv has collaborated with American Poet/lyricist, Scott Manke, to produce several songs of which two are on her current album "Words After Midnight". The album consists of original works,that has something for every one, folk rock, light Jazz, Christian contemporary,love songs, Ballads and even a lullaby.
