Hi, im a composer,producer and dj from the u.k. trying to push my music forward too get some exposure.
Its taken me a while to discover myself, and my own sound since i first got some turntables when i was 16, trying to scratch with doug e fresh "the show", which i bought with my paper round money a year or so before ,while my dad was telling me to shut the **** up, and turning off the electric to the whole house.I found the best thing i did was too stop collecting new vinyl too help me find who i was in the end ,and to help me let out whatever i thought i had too give inside.
With all that in mind, I dont really pay to much attention to what everyone else is up too anymore because i have found that only impears your creativity,that way you never get influenced,only inspired by others to find your own identity.
I haven''t really done much interms of making music since this project apart from jamming with bands ,who inspired me to save and build my own studio while bringing up 3 children and holding down a job i didnt really like...
Music for me is soul food.I find it very calming to be able too lose myself in it like its theropy at times.I feel very blessed to be able too share with you what i have been up too, and to be able too compose music which i thought never possible being so involved with break beats so much, going to all the car boot sales and charity shops diggin for the next hit...As you can proberbly tell i still do sample as well, but its hard too shake off the roots you have from being in love with hip hop since the days of wild style , hanging out on street corners in covent garden thinking i was cool and trying too break dance at the age of about 12 or 13. hip hop had me hooked.....Its about time to make somthing happen before im too old :-).
