People have been telling me for years that they miss that old school rock sound. They can find it across the FM dial on the classic rock stations but they just can''t find it live. Well that''s what we do. Our live sound is filled with rock ballads and groovin'', bouncy, catchy hooks that leave you humming and singing days after you''ve seen us. I guess I''ve been inspired to write this material from the voices of both older and younger fan''s that have heard the band play.
Anyway, Santana, Zeppelin, Beatles, Tom Petty these are just a few of the names that have been thrown our way as to who we (the Thorn Petals) sound like and remind people of. Hey, this to me is quite a compliment to even here people put us into a category of this class of musicians comes to me as quite a surprise, we''re honored, and those are our influences, this is who we grew up listening to, and I believe you will here their influence on each of our songs on this new C.D. we call " Falling On My Face."
