The rap label was established in 2003. The founders and CEO''s of the label
are Jon "DJ Threefa" Prosha and Blaire "Kid Kapone" Jackson. The two are cousins from
Natchitoches, Louisiana whom started out as young rappers just wanting to make music.
Years went by, but both still had love for the game. Jon moved to Killeen, Texas in 2001.
While Blaire moved to Monroe, Louisiana in 2002. They both loved music so much and
knew they had something to offer to the music industry, so they kept pursuing it. Jon began to make beats and Blaire was eager to put lyrics to them. They figured with the two of them together, they could
produce a threat in the music industry. Their only problem was how were they going to
be heard. They had thought of maybe trying to get signed, but no one knew enough about
either one of them. Then they decided to establish their own rap label in attempt to be
heard. The two of them would do what ever it took to establish their business. Finally, ON NA TRACK RECORDS was established. There first release under there own label would be ROUND 1.
ON NA TRACK RECORDS, one of the South''s newest independent rap labels
plans to set it off for the year 2004. There first release set to drop early 2004 consist
of all new tracks produced by DJ THREEFA coated with KID KAPONE''S southern
laid back lyrics followed by DJ THREEFA''S truthfully speaking uncut and raw
battle rhymes. This album features songs like TOOK ALL I CAN TAKE by
DJ THREEFA and first single "I Wanna Lean" by KID KAPONE.
ON NA TRACK RECORDS will be passing out singles in a set of 2 and then
the album will be released. And guess what, two of the four singles are not even on
the album. You gotta love it! Two of NAT Town''s finest at their best. If
you want to hear some down south natives rhyme and tell the truth at the same time, this is the
album to get.
