Hi, my name is Tim Hughes Thank you for taking this time to learn more about myself.
So far in my short life I have been blessed. I''ve had the privilege to live in some of the most beautiful places on this earth and to cross paths with some extraordinary people. I was born in a small northwestern town in British Columbia, Canada named Kitimat. Shortly there afterwards I ended up in another small town. Powell River on the Sunshine Coast of BC across from Vancouver Island. This, so to speak, is where I grew up. Currently I reside in Vancouver, BC. If there''s one thing all of these places have in common its their raw natural beauty. The nature that surrounds them all is humbling to the human eye.
I have a passion and desire for few things on this planet. I love my family, friends, to write, to sing, to laugh, to smile, music, tingling sensations, life, the Self, and of course, being Canadian, hockey.
I desire love, respect, inner peace, and above all happiness. All of which I have, to an extent, but I yearn for more out of life. Something I seek everyday. Something I look for in every corner of every outcome I experience.
To be truly happy I believe one must fully understand their desires. To fully understand one''s desires one must have a driving force, a passion for someone, something. I have chosen music as my passion. I have devoted myself to learning how to focus my energies in a positive and creative way so as to produce a meaningful body of work. Meaningful to whom? Well, that''s up to the individual. Those individuals who I do inspire and who have a similar passion I continue to seek
My goals are, like myself, simple. I want to have a voice. I want to be heard. I want people from all walks of life to have the choice to experience the music I create. I want to inspire. I want to be successful. This is what I want.
I know that in order to achieve these goals I need help from others. I need to learn from individuals who have gained experience in fields I have yet to explore. I need you.
I have a gift to offer in return. The gift and passion of music. A passion seemingly so small, yet a passion that has the potential to have an enormous impact. The potential to affect so many individuals in a positive manner.
