He discovered the guitar after a good classical grounding, which rapidly fell by the wayside. He still retained a strong sense of melody, however, which got carried across into his guitar playing. In fact, he believes that melody is more important than technique - that a good guitar solo is one that you can whistle once you''ve heard it.
His career has seen him playing thousands of gigs across several continents, and he''s supported the likes of Santana, Saxon, Ultravox and Skinny Molly, for whom he now plays.
