By My Side is a collection of sacred songs and solos for classical guitar and voice. The songs are original songs by Tim Brace or arrangements made by Tim Brace of existing songs or hymns. The vocalist, Hilary Kaufmann Smith, has a country music background and is formerly of the country rock band the Cosmic Dust Devils.
The guitar solos are arrangements, for classical guitar, of traditional Christian hymns.
The scores for all of the guitar solos, as well as for some of the songs, is available at the Magnolia Arts website linked on the lefthand side of this page.
