Songs that will grab your attention, wear out the repeat button on your CD player, and reward you the more you listen to them ‘cos the more you listen, the more you’ll hear in the songs.
The core of the band, Matt on vocals and guitar, Chris on drums, and Iain on guitar, was formed whilst the guys were at University in Hull. On realising that they shared a passion for making music with something to say, they formed Conscience. Over the past few years, and with a selection of bass players, the band have done numerous gigs up and down the country, including festivals, music venues, and pubs. Over this time, they have refined their sound, developed a catalogue of quality tunes, and learnt how to put on a great live show.
The new release ‘Life in 3D’ is the culmination of all this effort, showcasing the band at their best. With a punchy guitar-driven sound, and melodies that will reverberate in your mind long after you’ve stopped listening, this is music that will live on your ipod for a long time!
The songs have been recorded over the last year in Hull at various locations- anywhere we could set up our gear and play loud. The recording and the songs have been refined throughout this process, and the album really captures the Conscience Cubed sound.
Currently, the band are working on live recordings and videos for some of the stand-out tracks, and this will be due for release sometime soon.
