Details:
Time No Reason established their reputation as original songwriters and performers right from the start. Their critically acclaimed first release,"The Clock Stops Here," prompted Lee Barrish of SCENE magazine to say "these guys just might carve out their own niche and get snapped up by a major label." Netzine MUSIC RAM-BLINGS said, "with the right marketing push, this is a group that has great potential for commercial success." Time No Reason can be seen playing Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, and Kent as well as on the road in venues in Buffalo, Detroit, and elsewhere throughout the East, Midwest, and in the near future, the South.

Buffalo''s ART VOICE described Time No Reason''s guitar-driven sound as, "laden with artistic textures. This Ohio quintet has a hard edge, but finds a way to let the music shine through." The energized vocals of Christopher O''Connell give the band an identifiable, national-quality presence and focal point around which they spin their music. O''Connell''s vocals are reminscent of the Verve Pipe, Counting Crows, and Live. Guitarists Sean Larson and John Vorndran blend and weave strong melodies with eerie growls and effects to deliver a new 90''s sound that still fits soundly into today''s modern rock and adult alternative radio formats. The rhythmic, driving percussion work of drummer Bill Gans and the melodic lines of bassist Anthony Sterns provide an energized foundation to the the group''s solid, full sound.

Kathy Vogel of the WEST SIDE LEADER called their last full-length CD, "Watch and Listen, " a must [have] if you are into good music." The CLEVELAND FREE TIMES wrote: "this band''s music consistently rises above the competition." The band recorded their new release "Inner Works" at Grooveyard Studios in Akron, OH under the direction of Producer/Engineer Shawn Hackell. The CD was released on July 8th, 1999 with a huge party at Banana Joe''s in Akron. Other recent releases include "Radio Deadly," from TRS Promotions in Arizona, and the best of Northeast Ohio compilation "Dogbytes, Vol. 1," from Blue Horizon Productions, of Wadsworth, OH.

Time No Reason has been successful in achieving widespread airplay. They have been broadcast in Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconson, and in England. They have appeared on a number of Top 10 College Music Journal charts including WBWC 88.3 FM (Cleveland) where they remained for 2 months in heavy rotation with their single "Tension". Time No Reason was selected to showcase at the Buffalo Original Music Blast ''98 and was invited back in 1999, this time on the premier stage. Listen for their latest single, "Rain" on college radio stations everywhere. "Rain" premiered in regular rotation on WAPS 91.3 FM in Akron, OH on October 30, 1998.
