* April 2005: Was nominated out of a total of 7,000 Detroit area musicians to receive an award at the Detroit Music Awards ceremony for the "Best Country Vocal Recording" category. Other nominees in other categories from the Detroit area include international acts such as: Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Eminem, Kid Rock, The White Stripes, and Uncle Kracker.
