Biography

KH came over to New York from Kobe, Japan in August 2006. His playing is mostly original composition on the acoustic https://www.tradebit.com unique sound, sometimes makes the listener feel both nostalgic and https://www.tradebit.comle simultaneously performing dynamic percussive playing through the use of body percussion. KH began to play the guitar in 1996 when he was https://www.tradebit.comilarly to his father, who is a semipro musician on the saxophone and a member of bigband, which is still active around Kobe and plays works from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and so on, KH was influenced these seminal jazz musicians since early childhood. In addition, many different kinds of musicians affected him like Steve Reich and Michio Miyagi,"a japanese KOTO player". KH has released 2original https://www.tradebit.com first released CD,"ebuccibul", has electric guitar sound recorded at Kobe in 2002. In the second CD ,"INPOTENTIA", all compositions are played by an acoustic https://www.tradebit.comer KH cultivated skill as a jazz musician in Tokyo for two years,he built up his own music style as the guitarist now playing. At present KH, performs at a number of train and subway stations and some clubs day by day, and hope to inspire people with his electric mix of style.

After developing his skills as a jazz musician in Tokyo, KH came to New York in 2006 from Kobe, Japan. He is now actively writing and performing in his own unique style. KH cites such diverse influences as Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Steve Reich, Japanese koto player Michio Miyagi, 70s and 80s rock, and his own father, a big band saxophone player in Kobe. By swiftly slapping strings, tapping the neck, and knocking on the body of the instrument itself, KH uses every part of the acoustic guitar to create his music. He plays with technical dexterity - but not without emotion. KH''s music invokes varying moods and vivid imagery. He can play delicate melodies as well as challenging rhythms, painting pictures with sound of a summer day at the beach in Kobe, river rafting by kayak, water murmuring as it tumbles through a brook, or even the frenzy of a bird stained with oil. KH is one man with one guitar, but he is fully equipped to express himself.
