The Ashram Community Singers have been chanting spiritual music together for over 15 years. They are members of The Vedantic Center, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit spiritual organization. Founded in 1976 by Swamini A.C. Turiyasangitananda, The Vedantic Center’s Ashram serves as a spiritual refuge and sanctuary for seekers of all faiths to develop devotion for God.
The Ashram Community Singers offered their devotional chants of praise to the Lord, Swamini Turiyasangitananda and those in attendance at the Peace and Unity Concert during the World Festival of Sacred Music.
All of the selections on this CD exude a particular sound that resembles the Sanskrit NadaBrahman (God as sound) within each presentation and speak to the universality of all spiritual paths. It lifts the listener to exulted heights of happiness and is filled with divine-energy.
