THE MICHAEL ROSS BAND has been together for 5 years. Their second CD was just released February 2003. The band performs their own music and you can see them at several different venues around the Pacific Northwest.
The three have been influenced by many musicians over the years to name a few such as Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Mike Bloomfield, Billy Gibbons to Carmen Appice, John Bonham and Buddy Rich. You can hear the influences in THE MICHAEL ROSS BAND''s original music.
With the release of the second CD, ANGER TO PASSION, THE MICHAEL ROSS BAND shows with many years of performing together, the music has become stronger, tighter and even more powerful and energetic. From the solid, thick and powerful bass lines of Michael Allegri, to the forceful, fluid and commanding guitar work of Michael Les Taylor, add the thundering drum lines of Ross Rutledge gives the band an extremely full, strong, yet tasteful sound.
