Details:
Antonina is a musician and vocalist who has sung many genres of music: pop, folk, Irish, rock and Indian classical music. She studied North Indian Classical music with Maestro Ali Akbar Khan in San Rafael, California. She also studied with Nivedita Sen, from the Allahabad University in India.

She has had a long musical career, which included singing and playing on a number of recordings over the years. Recently, inspired by the writings of her Spiritual Teacher, Avatar Adi Da Samraj, she was moved to create a CD featuring her own music, Adi Da''s words, and her renderings of some remarkable traditional Indian devotional songs.

This CD, Come To Me, is a tribute to Avatar Adi Da Samraj, who passed away unexpectedly in November 2008, only a few days after the recording was completed. It is a dynamic blend of three traditional Indian pieces and five original compositions, setting his words to song. Her voice is gentle and soothing and the instrumentation is a beautiful fusion of both western and traditional instruments: keyboard, guitar, clarinet, cello, bansuri flute, harmonium, tanpura, dholki, tablas, cymbals. Tamarind Free Jones and Isabelle Rocher are both featured on Khandana Bhava Bandhana and John Wubbenhorst is featured on bansuri flute on multiple tracks.
