The life in my head
"I don''t know if you believe in this sort of thing. I''ve always written songs of stories or pictures I saw in my mind''s eye. Then someone pointed out that the songs were coming true in real life. In the interest of self-preservation I started trying to write songs a little more upbeat, just in case. But it just doesn''t work that way. Now I know I''m just supposed to pass on what comes out and filter it through my rosy, naive view of life. I''ll let the rest of the world sort out the details."
The results of these internal inspirations are recordings and powerful performances that are real and honest.
"Most songs start out being written on acoustic guitar or piano. Once the structure and lyrics are created, the songs are usually torn apart and reconstructed on a rythem section foundation and eventually grow to full electric instrumentation."

Tommy grew up near Seattle watching his heroes of the grunge scene sparkle and fade.
"...I used to tell ''important people'' that I lived in Seattle. But Marysville, WA is a far cry from Seattle. I usually drive past at least one cow sometime during the day."
Tommy''s live show is quickly building a regional following. He''s equally passionate playing solo coffeehouse as he is fronting his full band. Whatever it takes to get the music out.
Hundreds of hours of professional recording experience have mostly taken place at Seattle''s Ironwood studio as well as many other smaller recording studios around the region. Tommy''s latest works have been recorded in his personal home studio (apartment living room).
