Details:
25 year old singer-songwriter Tracey Cullen is from Manorcunningham, County Donegal in Ireland.

Her career in music began at the tender age of 7 when she joined her small village''s marching band where she played the tin whistle, accordion and glockenspiel in competitions through out Ireland.

At 14 she took up guitar, songwriting quickly followed and in 1995 she won the highly acclaimed RTE 2FM Yoplait Song Contest with her song "Take me Away". The song was then forwarded by RTE to enter a European song contest "SCYPE" (Song Contest for Young People in Europe) as Ireland''s entry and due to her well crafted songwriting talent and velvet like voice, Tracey won this contest competing against 14 European countries. This contest was broadcast live via 2FM and through out the whole of Europe.

During her teenage years Tracey pursued her studies in Media and Business but always continued to write songs and perform. Using this period as a learning ground she played with as many musicians as possible, learning from them and gaining as much experience as she could. Her unofficial apprenticeship was far from glamorous she gigged anywhere and everywhere, took part in talent competitions, busking festivals and songwriting competitions, this time was invaluable as it reinforced her confidence and helped her to mold and develop her craft.

In the Summer of 2000 Tracey met Dee Moore, a Derry born rock guitarist. The pair hit it off straight away and decided to merge. With Tracey''s acoustic folk influence and Dee''s rock background they have fused their music to create a blend of Acoustic Rock.

What differentiates Tracey Cullen from any other female singer-songwriter is her personal honest songwriting and incomparable voice, her live performances are captivating and emotionally raw, she draws you in with every song, thawing the coldest of hearts. Accompanied by the bluesy riffs and funky sexual rhythms of Dee Moore the pair have built a notable live performance reputation for themselves which has helped them obtain influential support gigs for well established Irish artists such as Eleanor McEvoy, Juliet Turner and Kieran Goss.

Since November 2000 the talented duo have been hosting a singer/songwriter night at the Bound for Boston in Derry, this event has provided a platform for artists to perform their material as well as expanding and strengthening their own audience base. It proudly celebrated its 3rd birthday in November 2003.

On Monday 25 June 2001 Tracey Cullen released her debut 4 track EP, "A New Appreciation". This debut EP was independently written, recorded, produced, pressed, marketed and not to mention financed by the duo. It was a huge success and received immense critical acclaim and fantastic airplay throughout the North West.

On Friday, 27th February 2004 Tracey Cullen launched her second EP "4 in the morning" to an electric audience in one of Northern Ireland''s premier music venues, The Nerve Centre. And on Sunday, 29th February 2004 both Tracey and Dee said a fond farewell to the Emerald Isle and embarked on their new venture to the USA.
