Details:
Eddy Nubine, gospel saxophonist extraordinaire, has been blessed with a gift from God to redefine the parameters of gospel and jazz music as we know it. Nu Flava Magazine nominated him, as a Top Ten artist in the jazz category for a song he performed off of his “Put Your Trust in Him” CD. He has performed as a show opener for numerus artists. Elder Nubine is revolutionizing gospel instrumental music with the perfect mix of John Coltrane and Kirk Franklin, and he is beautifully blending the creativity and intuitiveness of jazz with the praise and devotion of anointed gospel music without compromising the gospel message.

Saxophonist Eddy Nubine is the seventh child among nine siblings, and is a powerfully anointed child of God. He was called to preach at the age of fifteen with the inspiration of the Lord. Eddy Nubine’s heart for God and love for people has allowed him to see lives changed for the better through both his music ministry and through his preaching. Eddy is a gifted preacher and musician. To that gifting he has added more than twenty-five years of daily practice through which he has become skillful in the discipline of the saxophone. He has also been preaching for more than 15 years. Thus, it is with spiritual and personal discipline he now writes and records Spirit-breathed music and preaches under the anointing.

Eddy is an alumnus of the University of Wyoming where he studied music education. He is also a graduate of the United States Armed Forces School of Music. Mr. Nubine currently lives in Aberdeen, Maryland with Patricia, who is his wife of sixteen years, and their three children Eddy Jr, Elijah, and Brianna.

In the fall of 1991 Eddy formed an instrumental group called “Committed” so that he could began to pursue his two musical loves: Gospel and what some now call Inspirational/Christian Jazz. Currently Eddy is the Jazz Combo Mission Support Team Leader and Saxophone Section Leader for the United States Army Material Command Band out Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Eddy has played all over the world and he has shared his musical talent as a professional Saxophonist and has been featured on programs and onstage with great gospel recording artists such as Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, Vicki Winans, Jason Crabb, Isaiah Thomas, Patrick Lundy, Carlis Moody, and more. Eddy has been working as a studio musician for several recording studios across America. He shares his gift on album projects for other artists as well. He has earned the accolade of “The One-Take Man.”
In 1997 Mr. Nubine released his first solo instrumental album entitled “Saxophone Praise,” featuring his talent on tenor, soprano, and alto sax. In 2002 Eddy formed Nubinotes Productions Company and released his second project titled “Put Your Trust in Him” as a follow-up to his demo CD titled “Winds of Blessings.” This is an uplifting music project that many fans and listeners say they not only hear the music but they also feel the music.

Eddy’s third CD project release titled "Time With The Father" is a CD project that features some of Eddy''s best arrangements as well as original compositions that leave a lasting impression. There are 15 tracks on this project that range from ballads to up-tempo tunes. This is a nice mix of gospel jazz, and urban gospel. Eddy’s fourth and latest release titled “Bridging The Gap” is not just a CD it is a movement. This project has been birthed based on a passion Eddy has, to see visible change in local communities and the world at large.
“ There is a Gap between God and man. There is a racial gap, a generational gap, a gender gap, a gap between the rich and the poor, there is an education gap, and many more gaps seen and unseen. In order to bridge these gaps we must be willing to make changes and even sacrifices on a personal level. We should not only expect change but we should also accept change. For those who have no relationship with God may I suggest that you start by saying this simple prayer: Lord, I know I am a sinner and I have not lived a life that would please you. I believe that Jesus suffered and died on the cross on my behalf and was raised from the dead again on the third day. I am sorry for the sins I have committed and I ask for your forgiveness. I accept you as the Lord of my life in Jesus Name, Amen! If you have prayed this prayer you have now crossed over the first and ultimate bridge of change. Now you are a new creature. Treat people you meet with respect regardless of their race, age, gender, or social status. This is the starting point. Let us move forward with the help of the Lord to Bridge The Gap!”

Eddy plans to continue traveling and ministering the Gospel through preaching and music.
