Details:
CD Brigi-Digi-Dam has been launched by "No Fasi productions" founded in 2002 by Ruth Koenders a Surinamese songwriter, who won several songwriting competitions locally and internationally. She was the first grand prize winner of the annual Lo-budget love World songwriting competition, with the song "Pasensi kado" sung by Chantal Romeo.

Driven by her passion for songwriting she has written songs for many young Surinamese singers, who could only express their talents in local song festivals. The purpose of "No Fasi" Productions,is to help young artists of Suriname to get a stage for their talents, locally and worldwide. In 2008 Ruth decided to write songs for kids between 2 and 12 years old. The advantage she had was that there hadn''t been written original children songs in Suriname for decades, and she knew parents were hoping for someone to write new songs for children. The CD Brigi-Digi-Dam was launched on December the 5th 2008 with 15 original songs for children. The songs were arranged by a talented young Surinamese: Michel van Hetten, and are a variety of Kaseko in the song "Tikipopki" a sound rooted with African beats,a style that is typical Surinamese and a touch of Calypso: "Brigi-Digi-Dam" some South American flavor in the Salsa song Kes''kesi an Antillean Waltz in "Maskita" also Bhaitak ghana in:"Anansi koni". Brigi-Digi-Dam is a children s CD with a variety of styles, which resulted in a true World album for kids. The CD art is crafted by Robbert Enfield a Surinamese Painter currently living on the Island of Tortola in the British Virgin Island and designed by by Jerome Romeo. The CD is produced by Ragga Banton the executive producer is Ruth Koenders. The Vocals on this CD are done by: Jada Kay, Whitney van der Marck, Debora Martin, Irene Panka, Chantal Romeo, Burnitia Panka, the children of the "Sjommischool" and of course "Mr. Cockroach".
