Nate Davis is best known as the front man for the high energy hip-hop/rock/funk group, The Franchize. For years, The Franchize has been known as one of the hottest independent bands in the country. Nate and his group have shared the stage with Bone Thugs and Harmony, Nappy Roots, Fuel, Nikka Costa and most recently Ludacris, at the world famous Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, CA. After releasing their second album, “6 vs. 6 Billion”, Nate linked up with talented producer, C-Ray, to begin recording new music for possible use on the next Franchize record. What started out as an experiment became a twelve song LP, highlighting all of Nate’s abilities. The music captures Nate’s energy and passion for music. In his lyrics, you’ll hear influences of Jay-Z, Nas, Outkast and Lil’ Wayne mixed with his love of singing, drawing his inspiration from Motown and funk records. The result is a hip-hop/pop album that blurs the lines of what is expected from an emcee. Nate provides thoughtful, “feel good” music, in a club and radio friendly package while still holding on to his edge. With this album, Nate is hoping to show off his versatility as an artist with music that still rocks the crowd.
