In 2007 Rocks left Baltimore for Portland, Oregon to record this full length album. He recorded with engineer/producer Rob Bartleson (Wilco, Jeff Hanson of Kill Rockstars, Slackjaw) at Haywire Recording Studios. Rocks built the sound using acoustic/electric guitars, trombone, trumpet, flugelhorn, violin, cello, double bass, piano, organs/keyboards, slide guitar, saw, banjo and gospel singers.
