Ama single Artist born and raised in Limbe, Cameroon. Sent in year 1979. Started my first class in 1984 and completed primary school in year 1992. I then break through the secondary school after 5 years then used 2 years to cross the bridge leading into the university. So am not only an Artist but a literate Artist whose text affects the Rest.
Music has always been ma world since childhood. When I was a kid, I use to be awarded as best dancer in parties. The club is like ma second home. Started going clubbing at the age of 13 and was really hard between ma mum and I coz she was afraid I gonna loose my education. But my love for music could not let me listen to her.
I got in the world of music the very first time I was able to understand Rhythms. As a baby, I could stand and dance when ever I listen to music. I then became an afro-beat dancer at the age of 14. By then, I was in a group called Dakwas taking part in inter provincial competitions winning trophies as best group. After 5 years of exposures and free-style presentations, I came to realise to be Dancer wasn''t ma world but a Raphian Rapper, writer and composer. Have been in ma new world of music since the year 2000 and won 3 trophies as de best new style Rapper. I write ma songs and make ma beats. So, ama all round artist. No stress. U''re welcome.
Now, when step in the club, everybody wanna hear my voice. The mic. has always been ma club girl. In fact I rock the mic., making sure everybody feel da club. Have been an Animator since the year 2000 in an all-round disco. and was powered by the https://www.tradebit.com to produce ma first album coz they always love it hearing me dropping down ma voice.
I then met one Producer who did produced my first Demos. I worked with him for 3 years and later on decided to do ma sheet all alone coz he wanted me to Rap like an American of which he and I knew that I am not an American. All that was due to complexity and lack of self confidence myself. The very first official song I produced was "Brainwork" and made a hit in the club due to its groove and https://www.tradebit.com I took Personal Actions by writing and Producing my songs. It was really hard for me to define ma kind of music. Some says Ragga/Reggae, others says hip-hop, dance hall, Afro-raps/beat and more. Some can’t even define it. And that was what I was looking for. I mean a kind of music no one can describe, that sounds strange in the hears of people and when heard, always asked “ Who is this?”. Some even believe I’m a Jamaican. In fact none even thought of me being an African. But for real, I’m a Cameroonian and will always accept and respect my origin, not only in words but in music. I will never try to rap like the Americans coz I’m not an American. I know most up coming rappers always try to follow de American style no matter where they come from. But I believe real Artist always represents their origin like Akon, Shakira, Shaggy and many others. So I term ma kind of music “Raphian Flavour”. Raphian comes from Raphael which is my first name and Raphian is the Flavour coming out from Raphael. I decided to go this way coz after contacting many producers, I came to realise they’re all trying to imitate the Americans and that’s what I don’t want. Ma first album to be released is entitled "Brainwork". My husky heavy voice and ma rhythms is loved by de people. When they hear ma music, they always say “ Oh what a Voice” and they feel something new and great.I can only get to the top and show the World what I have in me if and only if you want me to.
