"Unanswered Questions" presents Susan in a more natural setting than her first release "Coast to Coast", which often featured a full country band. Here she wisely chose a primarily acoustic sound, with William Coulter on guitar, and harmony help from Keith Greeninger. Thanks to the careful use of bass, piano and some percussion, Susans guitar work can be heard as well. The more up tempo numbers are my favorites, but all the tunes she writes are carried by the soulful accuracy of a singer who puts the emotional content of a song across to the listener.
The late Susan Udell shared the stage with many veterans like Leo Kotke, Peter Rowan and Greg Brown. She won several awards including a finalist at the Kerrville Folk
Festival.
