After the successful debut of ''Literal Fiction'' and an action packed 2008, Brian Colburn returns with his 2nd studio effort ''Time Marches On.'' Throughout 2008, Colburn performed at venues / events such as: Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ), the Keene Music Festival (Keene, NH) and the Come Together Music Festival (Clinton, NJ).
Colburn''s music broke onto the airwaves on several terrestrial radio stations, and was featured consistently on the Cool Vibes Acoustic Diner Podcast.
''Time Marches On'' includes 11 tracks. Highlights include: ''Something Like That,'' a mainstay of Colburn''s live performances; a reworking of The Cars'' hit single ''You Might Think'' (Physical CD Only); an acoustic version of ''Sometime, Someway,'' a track selected by member''s of Colburn''s mailing list; ''Promises'' a bluesgrass track featuring Doug Phelps on Mandolin and Bob Spear on Jaw Harp; and the disc''s title cut, an alternative rocker featuring DC Slater on lead guitar.
