Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, John Bundrick graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1993 and headed to New York City to pursue a career in acting, eventually landing work in radio, film, television, and on the stage. He started playing guitar and writing songs while still in school at Centenary and slowly over time began to build up a confidence in his original work. He returned from New York in 2002 to once again live in Shreveport and began playing live around town, doing covers of the many artists noted in his influences section. He has since built up a growing repertoire of original songs and has just released his first CD, The Long Road From Lonely, recorded at the Tipitina''s Music Office Co-Op in Shreveport, Louisiana.
