OK, I know you were all waiting for it! You’ve been watching Jason for a long time. And though you heard about his impending final recital in April of 2007; though you wish you could have attended, most of you live too far away from Sacramento to have made the trip with the cost of transportation as it were. Well, Jason just made your day!
In his travels, he heard fans expressing this very same sentiment over and over. It became so much, that he decided to take the recording of the concert that he had made for himself, clean it up, and put it out there for all of you to hear! Now you can be there alongside everyone who was fortunate enough to attend.
The performance is very fresh and live, and culminated after the preparation of an entire year! Jason was classically trained from little on, but abandoned it for jazz due to jazz''s impromptu nature as well as the high pressure that is put upon the artist in the classical world. Performing classical music always made him so nervous. For Jason, this was an opportunity to return to his classical roots and to prove to himself once and for all that he could give an entire recital of classical music. Following the recital, he received his degree in classical piano performance. Now you can share in his hard work and accomplishment, and be a part of the whole journey.
