The Us Electric are Colby Parson and Susan Morse. Formed in the mid-1990''s The Us Electric strive to undertake incredibly diverse industrial music projects.

The band incorporates the influence of psychedelia with the developments of electronica and the industrial genre along with many of their own innovations to create a highly eclectic style of industrial music. The Us Electric uses traditional instruments in combination with a wide variety of vocal and digital processors, drum machines, synthesizers and digital sequencers to create its unique sound.

The Us Electric has been inspired by a number of bands and musicians over the years. The influence of such great industrial artists as Bauhaus, Skinny Puppy, Tear Garden, Gary Numan and Nivek Ogre is evident in their music.

Recovery is the latest Us Electric album. Released autumn 2001, this project is the band''s most ambitious work to date. The Us Electric started this project hoping to incorporate some of the analogue sounds of the past with the newer sequencers and vocal processors.

The second album of The Us Electric, Alarm, due to be released during the summer of 2004, promises to display new levels of creativity and quality as more top of the line recording equipment and software are utilized by the band. The Us Electric has made great strides to improve its sound by continually upgrading and adding to its repertoire of synthesizers and processors.

Look for their new disc, "Alarm," which will be released this summer!
