User Shorty Patent Co. is a collective noise.
Based in Burlington, Vermont, the band is lead by the songwriting, singing and guitar playing of Lancaster, Pennsylvania native Scott Taylor. User Shorty is the most recent fruition of Taylor''s musical outlets and features a revolving door of uniquely talented musicians. Forged in 2003, the band has been steadily picking up steam thanks in no small part to their incendiary live performances. Feeding off of such musical influences as Neil Young, Wilco, Built To Spill, Spiritualized and Jason Molina''s Songs: Ohia, User Shorty Patent Co. forge new musical ground every time they take to the stage.
