This is the second single and the title track from Thad Foster''s forthcoming CD entitled Big Oak Trees. When Thad was in the United States Army, he travelled by bus all over the country. One of the things he noticed was that many towns had big oak trees that were as old as the towns themselves. A lot of history was carved on the trunks of the trees wrapped around those small town squares. Those oak trees seemed to symbolize the quiet strength and character of the people in those towns. From a mother''s home cooked meals, to a father''s discipline, to the young couple that parks on a remote bluff dancing to the radio of their pickup truck under the moonlight, these images are all reflected in Thad Foster''s song Big Oak Trees. A song that reflects Thad''s love of America "From the mountains to the plains and the places that grow the corn and grain!"
